A little about me....

In 2020 I founded Safe Harbor Bookkeeping with a specific goal in mind. I wanted to help entrepreneurs and small businesses, mainly in the Real Estate niche, manage their bookkeeping, optimize their cash flow and increase profits all the while knowing they were in safe hands.

After college I stepped into the corporate world for approximately 40+ years. During that time, I was fortunate to be on the ground floor of multiple companies that grew to well over 40 million in gross sales. But my love and passion are small businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them achieve their dreams in life and business. Having been in the corporate world for so long, I now have the experience and expertise of corporate accounting that I can bring to the small business and entrepreneur all the way from correct chart of account structure, to entity structure, corporate compliance and sales tax. Also, over the past 15+ years I have had the opportunity to mentor with some of the top people in real estate investing, which means I have an understanding of the real estate niche and how to account for it.

While being passionate about bookkeeping and helping others obtain financial freedom, I am also passionate about my love of dogs. I have owned, bred and shown Alaskan Malamutes since 1980 and have owned a couple of Portuguese Water Dogs since 1999. I currently have five Alaskan Malamutes named Dax, Haley, Crystal, Marlo and Slade. Marlo being my current pride and joy having won two UKC Best in Shows. My first Portuguese Water Dog, Crispin, was the inspiration for my company name and logo. When I am not spending time with my dogs, I am traveling around the country connecting with other like-minded entrepreneurs learning how to better serve my clients.
